“Vita in Arte” — Life in Art
Mission Statement
My purpose is to honour nature’s strength, transform its raw beauty into art, and create works that inspire both visual delight and a sense of calm.
Revealing nature’s beauty through art, I craft one-of-a-kind works that celebrate resilience and renewal for collectors who value authenticity and depth.

Welcome to Saida Sheldrick Studio
A London-based sanctuary where nature and art meet.
There is no beginning or end in nature — only transformation. This philosophy guides every creation.
My art is more than decoration. It embodies a connection with the natural world and invites touch, pause, and presence. Many pieces are made to be felt as much as seen — grounding us in nature’s cycles and reminding us of life’s continuous flow.
I work with wood, ceramics, feathers, stones, collages, and oil paintings — materials with their own stories and energies. I welcome their natural variations, letting them shape the creative process. The result is artworks that reflect nature’s diversity in extraordinary ways.
Many works begin with found branches or fallen trunks, remnants of trees that have completed their natural life. In my hands, they find renewal: a thriving plant takes root in hollowed wood; a candle brings light where there was once darkness.
Each piece is a quiet reminder that beyond endings, there is always rebirth.
Perfect as gifts for homes or workplaces, these creations are timeless — enduring presences that outlast a single moment.

About me
"I will not reason and compare: my business is to create." – William Blake
I am Saida — Artist, Sculptor, Storyteller, and Founder of Saida Sheldrick Studio, London.
My personal motto is: “I aspire to inspire.”
With deep passion and formal training in Fine Arts, I hold both a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree (with distinction) in Arts, Media, and Culture in the Creative Industries from the University of Roehampton, graduating in 2021.
I studied at The Richmond School of Painting (2015–2020) and explored pottery, candle making, and other crafts through short courses. In 2025, I earned a Diploma in Power Tools Operation, strengthening the technical foundation of my sculptural practice.
My life’s journey of resilience and exploration has shaped my creative vision. Guided by the eternal cycle of life and death, I work with patience and care, refining each piece by hand.
I blend traditional craftsmanship with contemporary expression, creating artworks that are visually striking, deeply tactile, and resonant in spirit.
Each creation may be chosen from my existing collections or commissioned to order, allowing for personalization and curated combinations.
